Hi need help!
Does anyone know how and where to unlock my Sony Ericsson K850i?
I have seen internet sites that unlock phones but are they a con??
Other than that my local market has a chap that does it but he is not cheap.
Any ideas...?

  • There are quite a few places that unlock your phone - Independent Mobile Phone places, Market Stalls, etc. Shops will charge around £10, and some market stalls charge around £5-£10. I'm not sure what guarantee they give, but it's a risk.

I'me sure I read somewhere here that if you're with Vodafone (Contract), or Vodafone PAYG (both cases min 12 months connected), then they can unlock it for free.

k850i = a2 platform, £10 or £5-£10 very very unlikely. i would say £15-£25 and may take a day or three.
