Late payment scam again

Its all in the terms and conditions but the majority of us are too lazy to read them. We then blame the credit card or bank when things do not go our way.
Some of us are too lazy to read other peoples posts too.
You quoted one of my posts earlier, being all high-minded about proactive you are, I suggest you re-read it. I spoke to MBNA 7 days before they were due to claim the DD or isn't that proactive enough. Funny how they didn't mention a requirement to give them more than 7 days notice during that phonecall, it was only mentioned when I rang them again to complain about the charge (oh and the interest they charged of £1.something). All charges refunded by the way.
I have absolutely no problem with paying for the services I receive, I have accounts in the UK, France and the US, only the UK banks claim to provide free banking. If they charge me appropriately according to their charging structure I am happy to pay, if the charge is inappropriate I don't let them get aways with it. Banks are in business to make money, fine, I just want them to be open and transparent and stick to their own rules. If anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!0 -
banking is never free you always pay in some way0

I'm failing to see the 'scam' here.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
Being an on-line banker I was keen to look at my "payment due by" date for my credit card so that I could let you know by how far they brought it forward on this occasion. As you can imagine I am keen not to incur the £15 charge for late payment. So here is the on-line statement.
Summary
Available for Cash or Purchases£4,878.47
Outstanding Balance £821.53
Pending Transactions (rounded) £0.00
Credit Limit£5,700.00
Total Minimum Payment£18.48
Overdue Amount£0.00
Last Statement Balance£1,100.76 as of 02/07/2008
Last Payment Received£300.00 on 29/07/2008
Current Rates
Can anyone see what's wrong with this statement?
For those of you who can't .....there is no due by date on it at all. It's not my fault your honour, they made me do it.0 -

What does it say on your statement screen (the one with "This is not an official statement" on it) about the minimum payment due date?0
