The fact we get ripped off over here is no reason to use pirated software, but if you ARE going to use pirated software it's INSANE to pay for it, considering it's available for free.

I'd also think twice about downloading warez from a website. Download a dozen cracks/keygens from your favourite cracks site. Extract it all and scan for viruses.

They may have duped you into buying pirated software and making you believe it's legit, but the correct response is "!!!!!!! I'll report the !!!!!!" or at the very least "ah well, at least it works" - not the ranting you've been doing.

I can't "prove" it, but by looking at the evidence it's possible to make a reasonable deduction. I'd like to hear how you explain the evidence for it being pirated.

Who is selling them pirated software? Adobe? Microsoft? I think not.

How anyone could think it's legitimate is totally beyond my comprehension. A bad case of wishful thinking on your parts methinks.

2. You don't understand the meaning of the word "scam" either !

My dictionary gives:

Hmm, most interesting. I started reading this thread as I wanted to find out about Photoshop, but have instead been most fascinated by the energetic debate concerning software piracy! Cheers guys - I think this has been the most entertaining thread on the Techie forum!
