Hi
Since we are on a meter at home (which is a good thing as it helps watch what you use) we used to get by on £40 p m. Since the rising cost of fuel/electric we've been trying to watch closely what we use and turn off everything we can at night. Which is hard with a bloke that loves to keep every extention running with pc's and tv/dvds etc.

I've just totted up this months spend so far on electric and it has come to £60 so far and the month isn't over yet! I've nothing left in the bank to cover the next warning from the meter, isn't it rediculous.

Over here we don't have the option of ringing round other companies to get a cheaper deal, I'd be grateful to any tips on how to help us more other than have no life! Or at least give me an address of a governing body I can complain to.
