Hello all...............:o
And thanks for your comments on this matter which has caused my family such distress.
It would appear from most of your replies that very few of you have ever been in this situation, let alone suffering from life threatening conditions.
And yes I did give account numbers etc, I'm not that stupid.
I will not post on this site again.

Had I been a BG employee reading this I would have become bored reading your tales of family problems. You did not clearly state your complaint, I have no idea why BG was taking money in the first place, No idea of your account No etc. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

As posters above have said, this mistake has nothing to do with your family circumstances, nor your disability. By bringing all this in you confuse the issue. Adding your assumptions and accusations will not make someone want to help you. You mention that your PC is unavailable is irrelevant (and unproveable) - you could use another PC etc.
All you need them to do is refund you the second payment and apologise. They can refund it directly back to the card you used. They have done this on the first call, they should have called you back when they said they would.
You should proabbly check if you are eligable for their Essentials tariff while you're dealing with them.0
