Dear All,
If I invest £x per year in a stocks and shares ISA, can I withdraw it when I become 60 or 65, either all in one go, or in parts without getting hit by tax?
Thanks,
Stevey

You aren't subject to any tax directly on money withdrawn from an ISA. Once it's outside of the tax wrapper then it depends what you do with it.Debbie0

See the ISA vs Pension thread in the pensions forum. There are pros and cons to using pensions or ISAs for retirement provision. The first pages of the sticky thread cover those.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
