i got telephone and broadband from bt early march.i was supposed to pay monthly by direct debit.seperate bills.i put money for a couple of months payment for both into the bank.but they took three months payment for broadband and a week later they took a months payment for the phone.i phoned them and they sorted it out.then i got a letter from the bank saying i was overdrawn and they were taking £20 for it.i phoned bt and told them.they said get a letter from the bank and send it to durham.i sent it and waited to weeks with no reply.i phoned them up and they said they didnt receive it.can i get out of the contract with them because of this.

But you should pursue them for the bank charge, use recorded delivery and keep a copy of anything sent.0 -
No, you won't be able to break away from a contract because of this. If they didn't meet their side of the bargain in terms of offering a broadband service you would have a chance, however this isn't the case. So you just have to address the issues of payment with themselves.0
