Using code UKBARC1 - it gives fare of £3709.20 - BUT you might have to use Barclaycard.
If you go through Quidco (Use Firefox browser & delete all cookies is best for tracking) then they offer a discount of 1.25% also - so another £46 off - making it £3663 - if quidco tracks.
Have heard Emirates is very good - my cousin used to travel frequently with them back & fore Dubai (with 2 children who could frequently be mistaken for little monsters) - she was most impressed! Not saying your children are like that!!!
They also offer unaccompanied child fares so I'd guess they would have no problems with you travelling with over 2 children on your own.
Might be worth ringing them for a bereavement fare - bear in mind the lowest price £3663 & see if they can better it. They have seats so play on this fact! They also offer free visas for Australia. If I'm not mistaken they can be issued immediately - best to ask when you phone them!
Good luck & hope you can get a decent reduction.
We were in the same situation a few years back but thankfully we only had to get to Louisiana & we were adults, it was still a nightmare though.0
