New Vodafone PAYG price plan - 'Simply'

A word of warning at these prices, they could hardly make money on the service, so expect price rises down the line, but a good option for people happy to port again if prices go up too much.

The supermarket chain Asda, has been offering a mobile phone services for just over a year now, powered by Vodafone's network.
If you currently have a PAYT phone locked to the Vodafone network, you do not need to get it unlocked to switch to Asda mobile, just slap in the new sim card. I got my one from their website for £3.00. (Unlocked handsets will also work of course )
I called Vodafone and got my number port code ( cost nothing but a call to VF customer services ) this I passed to Asda mobile and my number was ported over to them in 48 hours.
Their price plan is simply better valuer, 16p per min for first 3 mins per day then 8p thereafter.
Texts first 3 per day at 10p then 8p per text after that.
Calls From EU to UK 35p per min - landline and mobiles.
:money:
From September 1st UK fixed line and any network mobile calls drop to 8p per min and texts cut to 4p each.0 -
This news deserves a new thread of its own cos at the mo its buried at the end of this one and the bottom of the IKEA family mobile thread - very relieved that I read to the very end! How do you ask the mods to do this?

Today is the day of the switch to 'Simply' price plan for Vodafone PAYT customers. I have switched back to Anynet this morning very easily by calling 2345 and choosing Option 3 then 2 then 1 and 1 again. It has retained my Stop the Clock when I went back to Anynet.0
