I'm sure the replies you've had so far are not what you wanted, but I do agree with what everyone has said, especially this:I think using words like steal are wrong as they are doing no such thing,0

Exactly. So why accuse them of stealing off you, when the only thief around this thread has confessed!
You won't get away with it.
This is from their web site advice to passengers taking infants:please have the infant's valid photo-id available for inspection (or birth certificate if traveling on a route that does not require valid photo-id0 -

This is from their web site advice to passengers taking infants:
Hi,
I do understand that I make a mistake and I want and need to but the ticket but my concerns are that I have already pay for an infant so what I am asking for is for the balance between an infant and a child ticket. When i contacted ryanair they told me that the infant ticket that I paid was not valid but the money is not refundable. I will understand it if I am not buying a new ticket or if I cannot fly with my son.0 -
How much did you pay for the infant ticket?
How much is the new child ticket?Gone ... or have I?0 -
ryan air is a no frills ticket...non refundable non changable is the general rule....therefore the infant ticket is non refundable....it is £30...you made a mistake, write this off purchase the new ticket and go on holiday, forget the stress and understand that it is no ryan airs fault (in this case lol)0
-
Buy a new ticket or don't go...your fault, expensive mistake, but maybe you'll learn to engage brain before booking next time!0
-
Hey look, you made a mistake, it happens. It sounds an awful lot of money to pay £300 plus. Where are you going to? Maybe it would be cheaper to start all over again and book for the both of you with a different airline. Good luck0
-
Unfortunately you'll just have to put it down to an expensive mistake. Non-refundable, non-changeable means exactly that, those conditions are on the website.0
-
Be very careful because, while you wait and argue about the £30, the price of the new ticket may very well go up much more than this. On most Ryanair flights the nearer you are to the date you fly the more expensive the ticket is. The price of £330 pounds you've been quoted could well be £430 tomorrow! If I were you I'd book the ticket asap (or do what another poster said and investigate whether you could get it cheaper if you start the whole booking again).“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
