Living Nightmare!!

Hi guys,

I'm not so sure as to why im posting i think im in need of a little support.
Where to start:confused:

Last month i was made redundant, i worked in the financial industery so finding it immensley difficult to find a new job!
so as you can imagine the whole ...bills,food situation is getting me worried and cry alot because i feel usless as my dear oh working 74 hrs a week(he works away 2 weeks at a time)

So feeling down as it is , then my beloved pet died last sunday that just completley broke me i loved her so much, then got a call from oh's work, he was in A+E as he was cutting somethin with a stanley knife...slipped and has gone straight across his thigh exposing the muscle, bu thankfully he feels ok after been stitched and glued!! cant bend his leg but refuses to come home because he has to be off 3 days before they pay him sick pay....Then
yest i got a call from my step mum to say my dads leg had swollen up to twice its size and they think its DVT , but then they find a huge blood clot on it way to his lungs and if the medication doesnt break it up in time he will die they have given him a 50/50 chance im of to see him shortly but really don't no wat to do , I fell like im at rock bottom and it will send me over the edge if i lose my dad!!!

sorry for the long post i just needed to offload as I have no one to talk to . x x:o

    Dear daisychain,

just wandering around the site when I came across your post. Big, big hugs.

You have too much on your plate at one time to cope with it all - absolute top priority is your Dad. Just get yourself over to see him. Put everything else in an imaginary 'in-tray' and deal with it when you have more time and energy.

Make sure that you are eating as well as you can, and try to get out and have some fresh air and exercise when you can. It sounds pathetic as a suggestion, but it will help you get through.

I shall be keeping you and your Dad in my thoughts and prayers today.

You poor thing....seems like everything that can go wrong, is going wrong at the moment. You must be worried sick about your dad - hope the medication works, and at least he's in hospital where they can deal with it. Your OH at least has had his injury patched up - hopefully it'll all heal well, but I know you'd rather have him back home where you can take care of him...not to mention the comfort you'd get from him being around! And so sorry about your pet, something warm and affectionate to snuggle up with would make all the difference right now. The job situation is a bummer too - but that will pass. All the other human stuff going on kind of eclipses that particular problem I guess.

I hope you'll be OK - be strong... we're all thinking of you.

    ((hugs))

    Great post from Alikay :)

Try to stay positive amongs all this and it will get better.. it does seem like all the bad things happen at once.. but hopefully that's the end of it now :)

There is an article in Discussion time about the Credit Crunch being over... not sure whether I believe though.. it's a Daily Express article and seems a little quick in light of all the recent media.
