bt hub advice

Have been offered one of these free - wireless router? - to stay with Bt for 12 months. Trouble is ive already got a hub from them for messing up 18 months ago. My query is is this the same thing im being offered now, and if so can you sell the extra one to someone else without hassle of registerd user nonesense? Im not very tech savvy so would appreciate it if someone could explain....

the new one has a longer range and is smaller/more energy efficient. see if you can blag the hub handset and BTVision box for free as well

the old one can be sold to anyone on BT broadband , otherwise you need to "unlock" it for any ISP (google and you will find how to do)

Thank you!! Does this mean my old one is a wireless router then? and what is this btvision thingy - is it worth blagging and should i look at other suppliers if these goodies are offering nothing more than i have now?
