Will car pass MOT with broken wing mirror?

Help! my car has a broken wing mirror - on drivers side. The glass is broken, the very end is "flapping" in the breeze a little but it all still attached. The black plastic is also smashed - but this is cosmetic. What do you think - will it pass? I am bidding on a replacement mirror on eBay. but bid doesn't finish until…

I actually thought that but missed it when I read the link so assumed I was imagining it (put it down to the couple I had already consumed :beer: )
