    How are you getting into the create new log file by the way, are you going in
    this way, In OE Tools Options Maintenance Tab then at the bottom Troubleshooting and creating a log file that way?

    when you click on your Outlook Express today tab does it show inbox = 0 items ? if not then it could be the same as somebody at work managed to do and hide all read / unread emails. (changeable under the view tab)
