yes.
The 1GB mobile broadband is only £5 for current three customers so you are overpaying by £60 a year.

thats great i'll sign up for that, why do they do 3 different types of usb modem though? so £15 all in .. never thought i'd get mobile and broadband that cheap0

is 3 the only one doing this?
i'd like to try a different provider, because my 3 signal is intermittent, but i dont want to sign up to a contract!
if anyone knows another network who does PAYG MBB please let me know0 -
O2 do a rolling 30day contract but you have to buy the dongle also it's £5 more per month than 3g.
Incidentally you have to love t-mobiles 'unlimited download' contract at £15 which is basically capped ay 3gigs the same as everywhere else, so it's not unlimited at all. Downright fraudulant advertising as you have to look hard at the small print to find that out.0 -
i'm currently without a landline and dont really want one , although i would like slightly faster broadband than the poor signal 3 mobile broadband i have via the usb modem. i would also like to be able to share the connection as i might get a lodger in soon!
so it got me thinking, when the signal improves on hsdpa is it likely that the mob phone companies will offer mobile broadband modem/routers? so that you could just have a modem/router on the wall connecting to the service, and then routing it out via wireless and lan ports?0 -
anyone think this sort of thing will be developed? or is it possible already somehow? the 3 dongle thing ive got now isnt really much different to a usb modem for adsl broadband is it? so surely the signal can be decoded by a modem/router box and shared out as well?0

If anyones interested, I did some googling and found a couple of routers that will do what I mentioned above! the problem is they cost a lot more than a normal router, around £150-200. If the prices come down it may be worth looking into.0
