Its all confusing, needs a floor plan. What's upstairs? I think a shower room but is it off one bedroom only or off the landing, its not clear. On first reading I thought one of the bedrooms was downstairs.
The description makes clear its a FTB or investment opportunity, so you could get someone who wants to let it (and the extra shower would be a plus) or a family willing to tidy up.
Problem is its in no-mans land. FTB would want proper upstairs bathroom, BTL would want laminate and magnolia.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. The area is well known for student lets because of Kent University. bascially you're looking for a buy to let investor and those are pretty much thin off the ground to being almost non-exsistent,are you near the campus? I found the area around there to be depressing (my son goes to Kent by the way) unless you cut the price, you'll be holding onto this baby a lot longer than 4 months!!

PS. it could do with a bit of fixing up, then you could possible rent it out to the Uni!!!!Debt Free!!!0 -
I guess you kind of asked for a kickin, posting your details here didn't you?
Oh well, heres a property of similar size & location, similar, if not smaller sized kitchen and comes complete with red carpet too!
Imo, it has worse kerb appeal to yours, but does benefit from an upstairs bathroom.

Sold, not sure for how much, but asking price was £138k"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Thanks for the link OP. Looks like the sort of property that goes well at auction.0

quick impression - no parking/deliveries in front due to traffic light, lots of exhaust fumes, car breaking, revving, beeping from the pedestrian things, etc.
Kitchen looks tiny and leads into the bathroom? It does not look pretty or appealing. No floorplan and chav res comes to mind from the photos. - sorry
Garden has no size on itGOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.0 -
Thanks for all you kind replies :rotfl: , not got a hope in hell have I?
Right, to clear a few things up. It has to bedrooms upstairs, one leads into the walking wardrobe and shower room. Two rooms downstairs, Kitchen which leads to bathroom.
By what I have read I need to remove the red carpets, furniture and, paint the walls. Anything else?
I think the chances of me selling it are very slim unless I shave of about 20 -30K. My best bet I suppose is to rent it out.0
