    OK
So he managed to work out that he can "just" afford the payments that come out of his account this month.... 4 payments he has that come out (makes me sick LOL).....

He's now going to cancel his Cineworld subscription saving himself £12 a month. I tried with this one previously but he wouldnt budge and today hes realised....

We're also going to consider cancelling Sky, and buying a recordable freeview box. Saw one in Asda today which was £85..... seemed a decent one.
Since we moved the broadband has gone up! because we live in the village, and we're still on 1950's BT lines at the exchange we cant get any of the cheap services, so we've gone from £26 a month for t.v, call and broadband to £40!!!! I was nearly sick.....
Told DH this is too much to pay for what we get (esp since the box keeps breaking!), so am going to phone with a view to cancelling, if they offer us a much better deal then great, but if not we're fully prepared to cancel and go to freeview....

    So progress is being made........phew!

We are the same regarding free/cheap broadband/phone/tv packages - we have not caught up to the 20th Century yet alone 21st in our area!! We don't have sky though, don't even have a freeview box that works, but that recordable one looks pretty good value!

    thats what we were thinking.....

Thats basically 4 months of the sky payment, for 12 months of recordable t.v....
Broadband is scarily £16 a month!
Have done some research on a cheaper provider but cant find anything cheaper....

Small amounts of progress, but progress none the less

got back home about an hour ago, cooked dinner and I'm crackered!

    Fantastic seminar!
We had placecards marking our table/seating, but ours only had our Dr's name on it, and they came round and asked you to put your placecard in the bowl if you were happy to be called upon, so me and the DT guy put the paper in with our Dr's name and we had laughed about that, and the Dr said he was going to volunteer us for everything as payback!

So they asked for a volunteer, so I braved it, and had to sit on the hot seat, with a microphone in front of 100 people, and as sad as it sounds, i was well proud of myself! I hate public speaking and being on show, and I managed to answer the questions and the Dr said he was really proud of me for doing it, and i had done the practice proud LOL.....
Got loads of great information out of it.... and am all fired up again to be great things in my new position...

    Hello!
Just back from seminar, was really good, feeling very motivated in my role, got a bit of homework to do ahead of tomorrow but shouldnt take me too long....

Went to asda to get things for lunch and some food for DH and his pal who is round at ours. Theyve gone out looking at cars for DH's pal, so its just me and Gordon, who is playing with "Monkey" and having great fun making him squeak!
Spent £18 in Asda but will get about £6 back off DH and his pal for their dinner stuff. rest of it is lunch stuff for me....been very healthy, got apples, bananas, filled pasta, carrots and dip etc.....and got some muesli bars too...

Still not decided about course, not sure if I should learn my job role first and be outstanding at that, then learn to drive, and then do the course. The first two should really be priorities i think...

    Hows everyone else's day going?
