OMG i am really stressing at the moment! OH have just rang me to say he has got a letter to say that they are making redundancies and he has to go for a meeting about it on monday arghhh dont know what i'm gonna do I'm gonna speak to work tonight see if I can go full time, OH is being very calm about the whole thing!!

Im crackered! But had a really good day, discovered I am much hungrier at lunch time than I thought I would be LOL so must remember more food and healthier as well, 2 others were having salad with mung beans on it, with jacket sweet potatoes, which looked so yummy i came home and made it for dinner....
But day was great, just trying to get a grip on things and learn names and the routine etc, but im sure im get there in a few days......

Thanks! I asked at work last night about going full time she said she will look into it for me so fingers crossed, hopefully OH will get some decent redundancy pay because he has been there over 9 years, I'm not sure how they work these things out any idea?

Glad your enjoying your new job cafc and hope everyones has a nice day.

On the plus side I have been doing much better not being scared at work lol! am still a bit bothered but cause I have stuff on my mind its taking my mind off it, my minds working overtime!!!!

argh i wrote a whole long !!!!!!! reply and its not registered, how really irritating....

Anyway work today as well, but just an admin day so that was ok, going on a seminar this weekend but not stopping over, only in essex so thats not too shoddy but was hoping for a day off LOL only been there one full day so i shouldnt complain too much but just feel like ive been non stop!

DH got underpaid (in his opinion) he was off sick in december quite a lot and i told him he wouldnt get paid but he didnt believe me, and low and behold he didnt get paid for it!so he only got paid £650..... which doesnt even cover the payments which come out of his bank account so we're having a sit down and a chat tonight about finances, but if he says to me one more time "lets put down our payments to things till we get straight, im gonna lose the plot!!!!!!

I just want him to understand that we need to get these debts paid off in order to have greater flexibility in our lives at a later date, I dont want to be in debt when im 30!
I am still going to try to pay off my own personal debts first and cover his with their minimum payments, and the extra I make will go there, because until he's had his lightbulb moment..... i wont stress myself out about his debts..... especially if he's not stressing out about them!

Glad that work seems to be going ok!

Bella, I hope OH is spared redundancy on Monday. Fingers crossed - although I do believe that these things happen for a reason, and that if they do, then something better is waiting in the wings.

CAFC, I agree that you should concentrate on your own debts first.....OH's can wait!!

so far DH is typing up a list of what payments we make, and i can feel the stirrings of a row coming on! LOL

Just pointed out to him how many and how much comes out of my account, compared to his!
He's trying to ignore it..... LOL

You just have to console yourself with knowing that most relationships are similarly "out of sync" in that area........doesn't help practically, but at least you know you are not alone!

LOL yeah I can live with it i think.....
but i just want him to acknowledge how much i do for him so that his debts continue to be paid, and his credit history remains intact.....
Because if we were just working it on an equal 50/50 split of the household bills and then paying our own debts, he wouldnt have a chance in hell of keeping up... and thats what I want him to acknowledge.
