nothing i really needed. no idea why i did it really. think a lack of not being able to spend sent me a bit mad. should hopefully raise enough funds to cover it on ebay tho.
ummm invest in some thick socks and jumpers! draft excluders (thank you it was driving me mad what they were called. eejit i am) are cheap to make if needed.0 -
oooooh making things is by no means my strong point.... I have a creative mind, but lacking hands
Can you take any of it back if you didnt need it?
Hey Bella, I wondered where you had got to! Yeah you're right, sooner than I think I'll be clearing up newspaper and piddles but he'll give me those puggy eyes and all will be forgiven
Shelly - We'll both have to keep an eye out for ultra cheap ones that we might both be able to get hold of and let each other know if we find any.
Might have to set aside some money say £20 to stock up on household jumpers and thick bed socks for January onward. I've got a couple, and a nice fluffy bathrobe and good thick slippers, so hopefully will be ok. Might need to get some fleece pj's or something though....
Managed to rustle up some form of dinner from the freezer contents, not my best effort ever but trying to run down what we've got on hand. Taken some meat out to defrost for tomorrow though.....
Then I need to write a list of everything else I've got left to do this week! Dont let me forget people!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I was having withdrawls from the net, seriously! been working so hard am really tired!
the good news is OH is coming round to the MSE way yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! I persuaded him to buy a big pack of bacon from the butcher for £9.35 there was over 50 slices of thick cut bacon OH wouldnt usually think twice about spending over £3 on a pack from the spar for 6 slices, but he has changed his ways, and was even telling his friend about it last night lol!!! xx***** on the road to debt freedom *****

awwwww god love him!!!
Just been looking at puppy pens and crates online, and reading my Pugs for Dummies book LOL
Anyone else use a crate with their dog?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
no crate but the best thing we ever got was a kids safety gate. You know the wee railed gate you put in a doorway. that way we could keep him in the kitchen but still hear/see us moving around the house. found one in a charity shop for £5.0

I'll let you know if I find any good excluders!
I borrowed a steel cage for my Springer from my uncle who had used it for his German sheperds - Oli my mad dog broke out of it in 5 minutes. My uncle refused to believe it until I showed he the snapped rungs
So is Little Gordon coming in January?Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

ooooh bargain.... not sure I could possibly be that lucky.
Found a pen which seems reasonable.... as dont want to put him anywhere where he's likely to chomp on wires etc....and I dont think we're going to have any room to set him aside where he wont have access to wires, and/or pipes....
Once he's older and got out of the chewing phase, I'll give him the run of a few rooms..... just nervous about him having too much space I guess....:)Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

good plan. be sure to get a good nights sleep the night before he comes home! Did you find a ticking clock? not entirely sure it works but it seemed to with our dog.0
