Warning-Manchester covert bus lane camera

Hi all,
One to watch out for.
If you travel out of Manchester Cty centre on the main A6 Downing street which then becomes Ardwick Green South just heading toward the Ardwick Green roundabout,make sure you dont drive in the bus lane. Check the times that it IS actually a bus lane. There is now a hidden camera high up on the lamp post there to catch alleged offenders and you will receive a penalty charge notice in the post !

If you live in the Greater Manchester area then watch out for this one and other covert cameras. The council are set to rake in fortunes for minor contraventions and you have practically no say in the matter. Pass this email on to your colleagues/friends at work etc and help them avoid a charge.

I wish they'd install a bus lane camera at the bottom of my estate. Would stop all those idiots driving in the bus lane who shouldn't be.

They should put cameras in all bus lanes.....they are for buses....simple really

You do have a "say in the matter". Don't drive in bus lanes. Simple really.

And the buses would be quicker were it not for the cars using the bus lanes....this could just go round and round (like the wheels on the bus!).
