Caroline - I think the general advice is not to post your own email address on a public forum - maybe you should edit your post and send Steve a private message with your email address?

Thank-you to the OP, had a lovely day at the castle yesterday, also went to cadbury world the day before using Tesco vouchers. We stayed at the express holiday inn at Banbury, about 20 mins drive from Warwick. It just opened 3 months ago and was on the special 2 for 1 night offer. Worked out at £29.98 per night including breakfast.

Have printed those, thanks for that link. I notice the vouchers have a bar code and number. As I have saved the file to PC to print, it is the same code on every voucher, has anyone had any problems getting in with multiple vouchers same code? or are they ALL the same code?
My voucher code is V8722. Can anyone help before getting there and all but one of us being turner away :-0
    Thanks in anticipation

We're planning to go on wednesday.

Can someone please advise how much time is needed once inside? (have plans in the evening so need to plan the day!).

Also, my voucher code is V8722 as well - I would assume everyone had the same and have used them without any issues.

    Hi,
thanks for that info, suspected all the codes may be the same; but would be rather embarrasing to take friends and then be turned away:embarasse

I know the programme of events finishes around 5- 5.30, and the castle actually closes at 6 anyway.

Just take them to the entrance and hand them over - they don't check the codes! Saw a pile of colour and black & white vouchers. No problem with getting children in either!!
I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!

Hope it's not too late for the info but you need a full day to take in the day's activities plus a tour of the castle and surrounding areas, a minimum of 4-6 hours. Don't worry about codes, the tickets are perfectly valid and don't even get checked. One thing is you will enjoy the day but take a picnic as the food and drinks will cost you a mortgage! :j

A very big thank you! I took my two children (11 and 7)to Warwick Castle yesterday and had a fabulous day! Lots to do and see and great for the kids. No questions asked at the turnstiles - just handed over vouchers and went straight through.

The entertainment (jousting - take a coloured hankie or scarf to hand over to your favourite knight as a 'favour'! - , mediaeval fighting, jesters, trebaucher display, eagle display, etc) and tours around the castle were really enjoyable.

Thought the archery 'lesson' was a bit expensive at £3 for 5 arrows though. The 5 arrows include the practice one where the instructors show the children how to hold the bow, load the arrow, aim & fire. It was all over in just a minute or two. Even my 11 year old thought it was too expensive for the time taken (trying to train her about the value of money and money saving!).

We took a picnic and had lunch in front of the castle in the Courtyard area and there are also lots of picnic benches in a designated picnic area in the grounds. Bought some ice-creams which seemed normal(ish) prices.

Beautiful place and a great day out. The children can't wait to go again - already printing off more vouchers!
