    Hi Connie,
Without being account specific it would be nice if you as a Barclaycard representative could confirm that paying the minimum payment as stated on the monthly statement and by the due date will not be considered as breaching the T&C as a rusult of Barclaycards policy of rounding payments down.

I am not paranoid but in view of what this could cost me, I for one intend to pay 1£ more than the minimum payment from today just in case it turns out to be something the company eventualy says ....This is something I should have checked and been aware of :(

    Thanks in advance

Dunno which is the most worrying. The Opening post from Alex or the lack of reply from Barclaycard_Connie LOL

I don't think Barclaycard_Connie will return, but I am absolutely positive that the OP was either mistaken or miss-informed on this.

I have a Barclaycard on a promotional rate and I pay the minimum payment as set out on the statement. This is rounded down from 2.25% of the Statement Balance. However, I have never had a problem with breaking the Terms and Conditions or losing the promotional rate.

I suspect the OP broke the Terms and Conditions for another reason and perhaps the CSA did not understand the precise reasons.
  • Hi All,

Firstly, sorry for taking soooo long to reply. As long as you pay the minimum payment requested on your statement by the due date then you are not breaching T&C's.

Alex_B didn't reply to my PM so I never managed to get to the bottom of this for him,

    Thanks

    Connie

Thankyou very much for returning to this thread Barclaycard_Connie.

The situation put forward didn't make sense, I am sure there is more to the problem than we have been informed of.

Nice to have the confirmation on this from a Barclaycard employee. Thanks again.

    What a strange thread.
