    Definitely not.
Is that the answer to my "have you incurred a late/missed payment charge of £12 in all of this anywhere" question?

The reason I ask is that Barclaycard are known to 'play around' with the payment due dates. Because you pay manually (as opposed to by DD) I wondered if you'd inadvertantly paid late...perhaps on a very recent statement?

You still haven't answered the question!

Have you actually asked Barclaycard why you are now paying interest?
    Gone ... or have I?

Yes, no charges have been incurred for late payments. I've just been put onto the standard rate for new purchases for which I am being charged interest on.

Then I suggest you put pen to paper...but before you do, answer dmg24's question. ;)

In all this we still have not been told what Barclaycard said is the reason your promoional rate has been stopped. Have you actually asked them ??
  • Hi Alex_B,

I work for Barclaycard and have been reading through the posts above - I must say this sounds quite odd and I would like to help you get to the bottom of it if you want me to.

I've sent you a private message,

    Thanks

    Connie/ Sara,

If you are posting on behalf of Barclaycard, which I assume you are, you need to contact the MSE Team to ask permission to do this. Without some sort of authentication, you are in effect a complete stranger asking someone to part with their personal details.

To contact the Abuse Team, click on the triangle in any post.

    hi Connie,

If you get the opportunity to solve this one I think everyone would really like to know what reason Barclaycard gave Alex for stopping his promotional offer, rightly or wrongly :)
  • Hi dmg24,

I have contacted one of the team and they are aware of who I am and that I am who I say I am, they will hopefully post on here to verify this.

Thanks Methusala, it will be up to Alex to share with you the outcome of what happened as its his account, I'm just on here to try and help one of our customers.

    Thanks

    Sara
