Best brand of exterior paint?

Can anyone tell me the best way to paint plastic guttering ?

I am using Dulux Trade Weathershield for the wood work. I need to paint the gutter balck so if it best to undercoat them first or just slap on the gloss ? I obviously want the paint to stay on as long as possible.

Hi, BigAde! You mention that your garage paint is flaking. I'd advise spending a lot of time on preparation. We had our exterior decorated once, and the chap did a pants job! Not much rubbing down and he didn't remove the old flaking paint. The new paint was flaking within months, and we had to have it done again within 2 years!

I'd agree - Dulux every time for me.

Why do you want to paint plastic? I thought that was why everyone loves it (and uPVC windows, for that matter) as it's "maintenance free"?

My parents want the gutter to match the facia boards which are black...hence I need to paint the guttering black

Also replacing some of the lower guttering in black so want the top ones to match
