I'm currently tied into a contract with BT for there Broadband using the Voyager 210 router (wired connection).
I have recenly bought a new laptop which enables wireless connection. So as BT is my broadband provider I rang them to purchase a wireless router.
They wanted to charge me a one of fee of £90 for the priviledge !!!!
Surely this is day light robbery?
Can anyone suggest an alternative option please??? Can I buy a wireless router that will still allow me access to BT broadband? I don't have alot of knowledge regarding these technicalities and need help please

The Hub(wireless router) from BT was #30.00 last week! I know I ordered one, get back to them to ask about it again. You live..You learn.:)0

After been passed from pillow to post and god knows to which country!! I was told, quite abrubtly, that the hub would be £89.99 1p off £90  (just in case I wasn't clever enough to make that calculation myself!).
They are just so helpful at BT & their customer service skills are faultless, I think not!
Can anyone help me in suggesting an alternative, cheap but effective wireless router that I could buy & would be compatible to use with a wirelass enabled laptop & BT Broadband?
Unfortunately I can't change suppliers as am currently tied into a contract with BT.
With Thanks & anticipation0
