The circumstantial evidence is very much on your side.I wasnt round a bend it is a straight slip road, just leading into main flow, could insurers believe i was reversing?
What I'm saying is that IF there are two people with different stories then it's impossible to prove anything (and yes people do reverse up slip roads sometimes if they've gone the wrong way).
For the time being I would hope that the person is honest and simply admits liability.
If they don't then you should still leave it to your insurers to sort out.
It's their job and there is little you can do anyway.
I know it's really difficult but it's pointless getting stressed about something that you are not in control of.
