Has anyone ever been to either Mr Kong or Wongkeis in Chinatown? Are they any good?

    Thanks

I've been a few time to Wongkeis, which has had an excellent reputation for some years now.

There are some excellent good value restaurants in Chinatown & a very good one in Charing Cross Road, but the name of it escapes me. They do an excellent buffet there.

Ooh, I feel quite hungry now at the thought of a lovely Chinese meal. :)
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Thanks cattie, I've heard a few good reports on Wongkeis, so I think we'll give it a go!

    Thanks again

  • Update on my trip:
Well, had good meals in Da Mario Restaurant, Covent Garden - found on https://www.londoneats.com and the Rainforest Cafe. A brilliant trip to London, only slightly spoiled by the person who helped themselves to my purse from my backpack somewhere between central London and Stansted Airport, while I struggled with 5 year old twins, their coats and various other baggage! What a hassle, cancelling credit cards etc - luckily not much money left in purse after the weekend. Good luck to them.
