Ok, I am having this problem now. Basically, when i click open a message, there are a couple of blinks around the huge banner at the top (adverts) and I cannot see my message below. It looks blank. Any ideas?

Do you use a proxy server to connect to the internet?0

In firefox go to Preferences > Network > LAN Settings
Just below the box where you type in the address of your proxy tick the check box that says
"Use this proxy server for all Protocols"
Ok all the screens and close firefox.
Open Firefox and try yahoo again.
Should fix it.0 -

Tools > Options > Advanced Tab > Network Tab.
But I'd still upgrade to 3.0 to ensure stability and security. Although the latest version of 2 should be ok.
It never hurts to look around menus.A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -

What version you using?
I'd be inclined to download and install 3 and save all this hassle.
However, sometimes, and it's happened to me, the profile directory can get corrupted, and you have to also delete that. But you have to uninstall firefox and then delete (or move to another location to keep it safe) the firefox profiles directory in your application data directory (which under c:\docs and settings\your name\application data\mozilla\) then reinstall firefox. But you will loose all your bookmarks etc. At least you can backup your bookmarks though and import them back in.A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -

Have been googling and realised that I am not the only person. It seemed to be some kind of bug that lots of people are having. Tried one of the suggestions, which was clearing the cache and cookies - it's working, its great!0
