I am really sorry to harp on - I know I have mentioned Guitar Hero before, but before I buy I just want to clarify.....

Im looking at Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar Bundle for wii. Do you know if I'd be able to add the drums later on as a separate purchase? My boys are nearly 10 and 11 so they won't necessarily know the songs...will that matter?

In your opinions, is the World Tour better than the other Guitar Heros?

Is there a microphone for singing as well?

I really have no clue about this game, but my boys seem interested when they see it advertised. We went into Comet the other day and they had the Xbox version there as a demo and they went and had a go....

Thanks as always for everyones advice. This is the first place I come to get advice and you are all so helpful. Thanks. x
  • Yep Zavvi is the cheapest, 3% cashback through cashback kings.
  • I got Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii, complete with drums, guitar, mike and free bass guitar from Amazon for £149 - great deal, so I thought. It was delivered on a Saturday morning in front of all my kids, with no packaging - not a sniff of Amazon's usual and distinctive brown paper wrapping.

Well that ruined their Christmas surprise!

After I complained Amazon have put a note on this page to warn customers that it comes 'in original packaging', ie NONE. A bitter complaint sent to Amazon resulted in a mild apology and £3 off my next purchase.

I ended up getting Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii with guitar for £49-99 from Argos. I'll add the drums etc for birthdays later in the year. I thought that was a good price considering most other places are £69-99? Just a question about the mic.....my daughter is getting one of the sing it games for wii so I presume the same mic will work with the Guitar Hero? (do the words come up like they would in sing it games? Or do you just make it up as you go along and sing what you like?!)
    Thanks. x
