Multiple contracts with same network

Does anybody have any experience of running 2 or more contracts with the same network, contemporaneously?
If so, which network, and did they automatically combine the bills into one, or have each contract completely separate? Could this be done at request?
Cheers

you should be able to request it with all networks just by setting up the 2nd account as an additional handset on the account meaning everything should come under one bill (as long as you pass the credit check)
to get them on separate bills they would need to have separate account numbers, when they process an application some networks will automatically check to see if their is an existing customer with the same details and add it onto that account
there is little reason for a network to knowingly agree to have two separate accounts for a customer i would thinkYes Your Dukeiness0 -
Ah, thanks for your response.
To clarify, I would like to receive two separate bills and have the two contracts on separate accounts.
If in worst case scenario, a network automatically adds my order to an existing "account", in your experience, can this be changed upon request?0 -
I have 2 contracts with O2 (CPW), and at one point 4 contracts with 3.
You can usually have upto 4 contracts without a problem, once you have been approved by them at least once.
I KNOW 3 have seperate bills for each account as do CPW O2, but I've sure orange merge bills if you have >1 account.0 -
Vodafone are a complete and utter pain with splitting bills; it can be done but their so-called customer service is atrocious and it takes several attempts and false starts. Orange will split the bills but not change statement and bundle dates, which will be the same. O2 is fine. I don;t know about T-Mobile or Virgin (never had multiple contracts with them, but have several with each of the others).0
