Does anyone know if it is legal to offer franchises for sale for less to some than others?
I bought mine and found out a few days later it was being offered to others for £880 less. Recently I've found out that it is being offered to someone not far from me for half the price I paid for it 8 months ago. However on the company website if you were to buy it straight away without enquiring it is still full price. In other words it pays to hesitate!
Is this right? Is there anything I can do about it?
Any help would be really appreciated!0 -
Savememoney2009 wrote: »Also be careful where My Little Wrapper is concerned. As mentioned before no one in their right mind would pay £1.50 for a small chocolate bar.
With the Wrap Chocolate system it costs me 25p to produce a personalised chocolate bar which I sell for 50p at Birthdays and 99p for weddings ( the bar stands up right and is used as a place name )
You can see some examples of the bars at www. Wrapchocolate .com
As always if you need any bars making up for any occassion please don't hesitate to PM me.
I can source foil wrapped chocolate bars aswell so PM me if you are interested in buying any for your business
Isnt promoting your own business against forum rules?0 -

Hi
I have found myself reading through these posts and although some of you have had success with mylittlewrapper, I was STUPID enough to get involved with N5 and raring2go franchise. I'm sure it does work for some, but they made it all sound so easy - if you don't make thousands we'll buy it back, come to your house to help you out etc etc etc. I had to give them back the franchise as I was having sleepless nights about the whole thing. I lost a lot of money - my husband and I laugh about it now, we have to, otherwise we would cry(or get divorced). Just make sure the business suits YOU and your skill, N5 make out anyone can do it - this isn't always the case.

HI - I have been looking into this and would love to know how you are finding it? Which package did you buy? The Business package looks the best but I am worried about how much you would have to sell before getting your investment back, let alone making a profit!
Having said that the start up costs are much less than My Little Wrapper plus they are offering £300 off at the moment - I am tempted! I want to find something to start in September when my smallest child starts school.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

KJM - DON'T DO IT! please read the the posts, it really is a rip off. i joined up to a MLW competitor for £1k VERY MUCH REGRET IT! i would be happy to give you the details of everything i got for my money and advice on how to set yourself up independently and supplier of the chocolate.
i'm so p****d off with these so called money making deals:mad: they're out to line the're own pockets, no one else's.0 -
I don't quite understand this concept I'm afraid. Where does the chocolate come from? I mean does it taste good like Cadbury's or is it cheap nasty chocolate? Also don't the wrappers have to have the ingredients listed on them? Are people touching the chocolate with their bare hands? Okay, I know it's foil wrapped but I feel a bit strange about that. Is it meant to be wrapped in a factory environment? How do you know someone's not touched the chocolate by accident and then folded the foil back over? Sorry, call me paranoid but I'd want to know the answers to these questions before I got involved. I think the person who prints the labels has the right idea. Why go for a costly franchise when they can just print the labels for you at a low cost?0

I am not sure I would have a clue how to go about marketing this sort of product without a brand behind me tho. I would love to hear the details of what you received and how you think I could do this independently - are you still doing this or did you give up? Thanks0 -
Hi All
I have a friend who has been doing this for a couple of years. She does really well at wedding fayres, shopping evenings - all sorts. I think she has a website too. She does it full time and it earns her enough to stay at home with her daughter.
Just my opinion of it. Its a business idea and what not and you make it what you can out of it - shes made it into a thriving business and enjoys it so good on her xMSE-ing since 20070
