Not if you are the only person who knows the bars you are selling have been meltedpicklepick wrote: »
you also need to make sure you're displaying nutritional info etc on packaging
You can copy that from the original bars, just take the average if they differ.0 -
I can't imagine parents buying chocolate bars with personalised wrappers for kiddies' party bags...
They were really good and everyone commented on how original they were. I wouldn't buy them again as they were a little pricey compared to just buying a standard bar of chocolate. There are plenty of parents out there who would get them, perhaps only once. But maybe in this current climate less people would. I had this email and looked at it, but at £1.5K it was way too much of an outlay.

www.wrapchocolate.com currently have an offer on and their prices are a lot less than £1500 you are looking more along the lines of £500, the support they offer to get you started is well worth the money in my opinion. The manuals cover off all legal ramifications and a full supplier list of UK stockists for the chocolate, not to mention all of the royalty free images and wrapper designs supplied.
The offer runs out soon but I believe you can still obtain the discount using the voucher code "Wrapchoc09" I don't know how long this will last for though.0 -
I have been involved with N5 in the past - it is not an experience I would want to repeat and I would strongly recommend that others do not allow themselves to be enticed in. We have lost thousands of pounds and learned a lesson. Others also have, some have lost homes and/or have broken marriages. A small number claim to have a viable business but I do wonder how much of that is bluster and them not wishing to admit that things are not going so well. N5 try very hard to gag those exiting from the best of business - now why would they seek to do that if all is well?

There is alot of truth in this report - I had no input into it. You have been warned.0 -
I bought into My Little Wrapper with a friend in June 08 and haven't looked back. This business has fitted in around our families and although like any new business you need to be committed and invest your time we are doing well and seeing a number of repeat orders!
We get out there shops, businesses, wedding fairs, corporate orders, networking etc etc and make it happen. We have found the support from MY LITTLE WRAPPER to be excellent but like any busines it is what YOU make of it.
People love the product and the chocolate and in these credit crunch times a bar of chocolate for £1.25 say with you own message or even a picture goes down well - the price of a card.
We purchase our chocolate and stock from MY LITTLE WRAPPER be warned for those trying to buy elsewhere ....
Other products on the market and ebay appear to encourage people to buy chocolate from regular suppliers (supermarkets, wholesalers etc) and then ‘re-wrap’ it. I beleive you cannot do this in this country. It breaches both trademark and copyright law, food labeling law and also (unless it is done properly) food handling and hygiene law.

i think you work for the company?0 -
Hi All,
I've just started working in a new network for chocolate which launched in the UK in January and low start up costs. It's not the printed chocolate as being discussed here but I do believe it will be a success in the UK marketplace..
Due to board rules I'm not sure I can post any info here - but if you'd like more info then PM and I'll send it across.
Good luck with all your ventures!!0 -
If there are people out there stupid enough to pay between £1.00 - £1.50 for a bar of chocolate just because it is in a home-made wrapper, then good luck to anyone who wants to exploit them.
Personnally, I would buy normal cheap bars from the supermarket then over-wrap them (this ISN'T illegal, as they are still in their original wrappers, and over-wrapping them with your own is no different to wrapping it up as a present in gift paper.Never Knowingly Understood.

Hi Patman,
This is Illegal. It breaches Trademark Law. It isn't a "present" if a sale takes place ^^0 -
Also be careful where My Little Wrapper is concerned. As mentioned before no one in their right mind would pay £1.50 for a small chocolate bar.
With the Wrap Chocolate system it costs me 25p to produce a personalised chocolate bar which I sell for 50p at Birthdays and 99p for weddings ( the bar stands up right and is used as a place name )
You can see some examples of the bars at www. Wrapchocolate .com
As always if you need any bars making up for any occassion please don't hesitate to PM me.
I can source foil wrapped chocolate bars aswell so PM me if you are interested in buying any for your business0
