Orange Unlimited Texts and Your Account
I'm on Orange. This is my first contract so I'm new to things. I have 2 questions:
1) I supposedly have unlimited texts. When I call 150 to check my balance, it says I have no texts allowance. Is this because it's unlimited?
2) I ported from Pay as You Go through Retentions and now my online "Your Account" section is screwed up. Will this sort itself out or will I have to get it fixed?

Hi Tim,
I have an Orange contract and I also have unlimited texts but my current contract is only for 300 (the unlimited was an extra that was thrown in) when I phone Orange 150 it also says I have 300 remaining..so don't worry they are definately unlimited, I have had my contract 9 months and they have never charged for a txt message..one thing to be aware of is that they are supposed to be 'unlimited' but there is in fact a limit! mine is 3,000 as is a friend of mine's, so i'm sure this is what your's would be..but check with Orange...
I can not answer your secound question but do give them a call on 150 always happy to help and very friendly too!0 -
thats right even though its supposed to be unlimited there is in fact a fair usage limit of 3000 text. Belive me i text a hell of a lot and cannot use these!!! as for your second question, i think it should sort itself out after you receive your first bill, orange are a little slow over things like this, when i got a second handset on my account for my boyfriend he was supposed to have a discount knocked off for handing in an old handset but it took them 2 months to sort it out!!!0
