Going BR..NEED TO RENT..WITH PET ?!

I've rarely had problems renting with my cats and having done a brief stint as a lettings negotiator then I know most landlords will consider pets if you agree to a higher deposit AND having any carpets professionally cleaned when you leave (in case next tenant is allergic) which I don't think is unreasonable

I don't think you'll have many problems with the landlord to be honest

previous property I was renting was no pets, contacted the LL though the letting agency said we wanted to get a dog, and if they let us we would put down laminate floor throughout the ground floor, they were happy with that. Not a problem at all."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

I paid an extra deposit on my last place to cover my cat... stayed with the same agents when I recently moved and as they saw that my cat did no damage they didn't ask for extra on my new place.
I would be honest with them, I think you could get away with it with a cat, but a dog is different, I had a boxer once and he tore my house to pieces!

Some can insist on a full carpet clean. Which is expensive, as it must be a fumigated one too. Was quoted 300.00 in our last private let by a company to do it. I just hired a cleaner from Johnsons and did it myself. MIND if some has allergic reactions they should be renting a carpet house any way!!
Our landlord tried everything to keep all our deposit, even down to bins not being empty. Our son goes to the school next to house so said we would put out on bin day but he still funny.
