If you live anywhere near Bury, Antler have a factory shop there with luggage starting from £10 (sometimes less) for end of lines, returns etc or big discounts on later lines. Cheaper than Antler outlets and always some great bargains to be had.0

M&S are doing 3 for the price of 2 on cases, plus a 20% discount, which is a pretty good deal. Don't know how long it will last, fill yer boots!0

I was air crew and still travel a fair bit for personal holidays. I bought some Samsonites and Delseys over 30 years ago. They do weigh more than some modern luggage but have sustained only scuffs over the years. On a per use basis the cost is barely calculable. The other make I would recommend is Globetrotter. Think Out of Africa and you are there. Used by the Royal Household if I am not mistaken. Pricey but g- o- o- d! Good luggage make a good graduation/wedding present. Bon Voyage!0

All my luggage is Kipling. It's expensive but it's very good quality.0

I brought some very large carlton hard shell suit cases with a combination lock, no zips 6years ago from Makro for a brilliant £19.99 each, they have a few scratches on but nothing else, good as they travel twice a year. I have noticed them in Makro a few times since for the same price so watch out for them if you have a Makro card.
Nearly forgot to mention that they weigh just under 5kg0
