  • I thought i would bring this back up. I recently bought a car with Car giant – the worst decision I have ever made. We have had problems with the vehicle, starting a week from driving out the show room which has forced us to get it repaired and it has recently failed the MOT (a few months later) – which is going to cost us a substantial amount to get it back on the road, all of which cargiant have said they bear no responsibility for. The customer service is disgraceful - incredibly rude and patronising and I can’t not believe they can continue on trading. PLEASE I BEG YOU NOT TO CONSIDER THIS USELESS BUNCH!

This person maybe wrong, but I was told that the majority of cars on sale in Car Giant are ex rent cars or ex company fleet cars.

Newbie and first post is to slag of CarGiant.

Funny thing is all the cars I have bought and helped others buy have had a fresh MOT.

Something doesn't ring true with this thread revival post.

Especially as they now do repair under SOGA on site and provide courtesy cars

    What a load of rubbish.

After a week you could simply take it back flr a repair.

Either this post is malicious, fictional or you actually went to a car auction and bought one of the cargiant trade.ins.:rotfl:

Do you have some sort of alarm that goes off in your house when someone on a forum makes a negative comment about CarGiant?

Could it be that other people might have a different experience to yours?

go to any Audi, Merc or BMW main dealer and look at 6 to 12m old used cars with max 10000m on them.
Most of them will have come from hire companies.
Where do you think used cars come from?

Not a bad word to say and the prices are reasonable. Just go in there having done the research around privately to ensure the small likelihood of getting ripped off doesn't happen

I didnt say otherwise and i didnt say it was a bad thing - i bought my golf at nine months old, ex lease car, from a main VW dealer.

Saved £8,000 compared to list price on a new one
