Recommend me an ISA

My IF Cash ISA is currently paying a measly 5.1% AER, so I'd like to transfer it elsewhere. Can anybody recommend me a Cash ISA please that:
- has a better interest rate (some form of rate guarantee would be a bonus).
- allows transfers in.
- has interest paid monthly.
- has online access (and opening if poss).
- is not Icesave.

How about the Principality Building Society's e-ISA at 6%? That fits the bill for what you want. Failing that a quick search on Moneysupermarket should bring up a few.0

Ruffler Bank has a good one, around 6.25% at the moment I think, but I'm not sure if it is paid monthly, I think it's annual interest, doubt it's on-line too - just recommending them because they have an excellent customer service record. I've been very impressed with them so far...
Cash ISAs accepting transfers in, are listed here at Moneyfacts.0 -

Thanks, that one's a possibility though unfortunately it's annual interest only I think.Stompa0 -

Yes, I've only heard good things about Ruffler, but as you suggest it's annual interest and not online unfortunately.Cash ISAs accepting transfers in, are listed here at Moneyfacts.
Thanks, I think I've checked most of the usual suspects shown on the various lists, and have been unable to find anything that is similar to Icesave. I was hoping there might some really obscure account out there somewhere!Stompa0 -
Leeds BS have an RPI+2.5 isa which currently = 7.1% and is probably going up.
I think you can open this online but the interest is paid annually.0 -
According to moneysupermarket, the highest paying instant access ISA which accepts transfers in and pays monthly interest is the Bradford & Bingley eISA 3. Unfortunately it only pays 5.3% AER (5.18%)
.
If you're prepared to tie up your capital, there are some fixed rate deals that pay monthly interest - for example Yorkshire Building society's Fixed Rate Anniversary ISA which matures on 30.06.09 and pays 6.30% AER (6.13% gross).

Why not Icesave?
It does all of the above that you request. If you are concerned of possible security of your investment it is covered by the same protection as all other uk ISA's by the same government FSA protection up to £35K0 -
Everyone - please note that Icesave is not covered by the same £35k limit...the first €20k is covered by the Icelandic Governments equivalent of our own deposit protection scheme. This may, or may not, be better than our own scheme but I know where I'd prefer my money - where my vote is!
