Intresting thread, my OH has just got another car, so She's left with her old
R-reg 1.8 Ford Escort mot and tax run out next month, a few problems with it, temp gauge dont work, central locking dont work, since new cluth fitted 2 years ago, :mad: radio dont pick up stations, plays cd's ok.
It's in a pretty dirty messy state inside and out.
We were thinking of scrapping it as we dont think anyone would by it, would they??
If it had an mot it must only be worth £500 max, scrappy would probably pay £150+ the cat must be worth £70 alone.

Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

Stick it on ebay with a complete and honest description of it's condition with no reserve, you stand a chance of beating £150 for it.
