Just a point CLA can now only give any help/advice if you qualify for legal aid,if you dont they cant help

its almost pointless asking for a reconsideration/revision if you intend to appeal as part of the appeal process involves a revsion(the claim is checked by a different DM)however they rarely make any change at this point.
What is helpful is asking for a statement of reasons,this also extends the time limit for appeal from 4 weeks to 6,and as has already been said opting for an oral NOT written hearing greatly improves the chance of a positive outcome.
