Icesave ISA Transfer Form

I'm a bit puzzled, on the Icesave ISA Transfer form, there are 3 name fields:

Full name:
Middle name(s):
Surname:

seems a very odd choice, does anybody know why they've done it that way? (or is it just poor form design!)

Thanks
Stompa

Looks like bad form design to me; I would imagine "Full" was meant to read "First".

I had an 'Icelandic' moment when I opened my Kaupthing account on-line recently. When it came to the bit about entering your linked account details, it asked for Sort Code, Account Number, and Bank Name. Since the bank name is covered by the sort code, I assumed they were really asking for the Account Name e.g. Mr J & Mrs P Bloggs. I duly put the name of our account in and everything went through ok.

Yes, I thought that too. Given that they must have received loads of these forms, and that it's just a downloadable pdf, you'd think that they'd correct it though!

  • I'm trying to do the opposite i.e. transfer my Icesave ISA to Nat West.

The NatWest transfer form asks for the Account Number and Sort Code for my existing ISA.

My documentation from Icesave and their website do not appear to give me this data but from other threads here they may be

    80469947 20-32-53

    Can anyone confirm please?

Also there is no place on the NatWest form for what Icesave call my ISA account number which is in the form

    NNANNNNNNNAAA N= numeric A= alphabetic

    Any help gratefully received!

I just filled in my full account number carrying on after I ran out of box space and for the sort code I put 000000. Natwest said that was fine.

I did it differently, putting in the standard 80469947 and 20-32-53 then writing underneath what my actual account number was with a note. They acepted that too.

As I don't think any of the transfers has happened yet we don't know for sure they will work, but hopefully their Head Office staff get enough of these through to know how to set them up.

I went into my local branch to transfer my ISA from Icesave to Natwest to qualify for the 2% bonus. I was informed by the bank manager that the offer will terminate at some point this week.

So here's to all money savers who have yet to transfer... DO IT NOW :)
