Bunny, really pleased you had a good laugh last night, does you the world of good.

Off to work today but to be honest now the kids have broke up its soooo quiet. Just ploughing through paperwork and getting caught up.

Looks like I wont be in this job long though (I only started here in May) there is an opening in a different department which will mean a return to teaching accounting based subjects which is where my heart is really and its full time. Not set in stone yet but its looking good:D

    Have a great day everyone.

    just off to work

Starting to wonder about the strike tomorrow and Thursday and how many staff will turn up. I'm at an outpost rather than the main building so I don't know if there will be a picket line there or not and whether people will just go into work as normal. I guess I'll be going in though. The union want 6% or 50p an hour, not the 2.45% offered. 6% seems a lot but when I worked it out for me it is just under 50p an hour, so still a really small pay rise.

any other LA staff here? What are your plans etc?

Morning all......waiting for news from our buyers this morning to see whether we can agree at an asking price (then all I have to do is come up with the extra £3,500) they want ;)

Other than that all is quiet at the moment. Lull before the storm maybe? Sorry to hear you're not happy at the moment Jinky.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Numpty our bus fares have just gone up too, it was £1.50 for a single, now it's £1.60, it is getting ridiculous... I am almost looking forward to my driving test to get away from the retched things...
