Credit Reference Agencies - Who Really Uses Who?! UPDATE

Both are poor, I applied a few weeks back through O2 direct, my Brother wants one as well and tried O2 direct again last night, both times they searched Equifax, didn't search Experian on both occasions.
I have 2 defaults both soon to be satisfied as I have paid them. I was wondering if CPW may be easier to pass there credit checking.I would even pay a deposit.0 -
I can see where you are coming from. The only way to know is to go through the credit checks with CPW. How about try and get the two defaults removed from your credit report? It would make a HUGE difference to the credit scoring, as often where there is a default on file it automatically decline the application!
02 defaulted me (their mistake) without telling me. Ironically, i only discovered this when i went to the CPW store and the computer declined me! Thankfully, 02 have removed it after i threaten legal action and i have not had any problems since.0 -
Defaults that are satisfied makes no difference to a default with balance still outstanding if you are applying via automatic credit scoring process.
If you don't mind telling me, who are the lenders that defaulted you? Have you looked into the possibilities of having them removed due to some kind of loopholes like CCA?0 -
T-mobile and 3 are easier to pass i think via CPW credit checks as they have a lower credit score pass. Credit scoring applications that achieve a certain level of credit score (even if it is low) will pay a deposit. 02 and Vodafone are much more strict i would say and have a higher credit score.0
