Receiving free calls whilst you are abroad
I have been reading some websites including this one re receiving free calls from UK mobiles when you are abroad. There are many sites that do this and I can see that this is possible. My problem is that I have only found 1 site that told me how it works and this is by allocating you an 0871 number which means the person calling you cannot use their inclusive minutes calling you.
Does anyone know a firm that does a sim that will receive calls free from abroad (Spain) and use their inclusive minutes to cover their cost?

Read the roaming thread at the top of the board, and Martin's roaming article
There are several global SIMs with free incoming calls, but they won't come from all UK networks' inclusive minutes
For Spain, take a look at O2's Chosen Country - Spain add-on: £5 a month, free incoming calls, 25p/min outgoing, available on both contracts and Pay & Go0 -

hey havent u heard of sim4travel! its free to receive calls in many countries and is just £15.99 type in the code ff50 and get it half price. go via quidco for £4 too!!!!! its just 25p to make a call from spain. also its an 07509 number - different companies charge different to this number as its a mobile registered in jeresey i believe. the best way ive found is to use 18185 services which charges 6p a minute to call this anytime and 4.5 at weekends.

You can use inclusive minutes on Virgin Mobile to call these SIMs. Made a long free call yesterday to Israel. Definitely a good option.0
