QuidCo £175 on Orange with P4U - HTC Touch Diamond

It still works out at over £25 per month over 18 months.
I personally would rather do a 11 or 12 months free with a lesser phone.

......and £60 back from Quidco or indeed Cashback Kings
......or http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/contract_offer_details.asp?ItemKey=209956&MPItemKey=192438
with £55 cashback and making a profit.

My partner ordered one earlier. He rang them up after for a bit more information, they told him it is also 11 months half price by redemption.
It's on Dolphin 35, which the orange website says at the moment has unlimited internet browsing, but when he phoned phones 4 U they could not confirm this, can anyone on that tariff confirm they have unlimited browsing ? As with the diamond the internet is one its key features,e.g google maps and youtube are standard features.
Averaging out the monthly cost, taking into consideration the cashback from Quidco, he worked it out to just under £18 pm., over 18 months.0 -
There is an offer for 11 months 1/2 price line rental but this is NOT the Quidco offer. I don't believe you can get both, but who knows??
If so, the 11 months 1/2 price (£192.50) and £60 cashback would be a far better deal.

How much memory does the HTC diamond have?
Can anybody confirm the price per month this works out to be?
Thanks.0 -
mobiles2yourdoor are offering 12 months half price line rental (by redemption) plus £55 via quidco makes it slightly cheaper I think.
This has 4GB of memory, no expansion slot though (only thing that lets it down)matched betting: £879.63

18 x £35 = £630
minus 12 x 17.50 = -210
minus £55 cashback = -55
Total net out = £365
over 18 months = £20.28 per monthmatched betting: £879.63

All Orange '35+' 18-month new contracts have unlimited browsing limited to 250MB or 500MB depending who you ask.
Piggeh is right - the M2YD deal works out cheaper over the 18 months provided all the cashbacks are claimed successfully.
M2YD comes to £365, plus the costs of sending 4 cashback redemptions, plus your time doing so (which you may value at nil).
The Quidco Phones4U offer almost certainly has no discounted line rental and is more akin to the M2YD auto cashback offer or Orange Direct deal that ended on Sunday. Instead of a series of cashbacks that could be missed where you get the money next year, you get a lower cashback amount in a single sum this year. That said, I would expect the M2YD auto cashback to be guaranteed while Quidco is never that: see the Orange £150 thread.
Total cost over the term, provided Quidco pays out, with the Phones4U £175 Quidco deal, is = 35 *18 - 175 = £455. On the face of it £90 worse, though comes to nearer £80 with 4 lots of RD postage plus allowing for the fact that the £175 can sit in the bank earning interest for months. It costs more than the Orange equivalent deal that expired on Sunday (£434 for the term).
Piggeh is also right about the storage. I was about to post that it has 192MB or RAM, of which 64MB is reserved for graphics, although I guess the 4GB (and no SD slot) is the question you wanted anwering.
Thanks to replies to questions I asked on this site (and ordering myself), Orange do not need a PAC at the time of ordering. In my own case, I am waiting a week for my PAC to become free when the 12 months are up.0
