Regarding the egg money - you need to access the apple site by clicking the link on the egg site and then there is no option to enter the educational store - so I don't think you can use both offers at once.

this is strange. I also thought there was no option to enter the education store via the Egg affiliate, but i have just tried and saw the education link at the bottom. Im sure last week it wasnt there.
Aargh! To cancel my order or not?0 -

Yes the cashback appeared in my account at the same time the transaction. However I used the schools discount rather than the university one - don't know if this makes a difference.0 -
just had a look at the egg money discounts page today and found that the dicount for apple is now 5% not 10%
Also when you click on the link the education store option isnt avaliable anymore
Have they closed this loophole before i could get a chance to use it? grrrr!Come to my garden in South Bucks and i'll find you a wasp...0 -
I just bought a powerbook from the Apple Store Online using Education discounts last week.
I didn't bother using the link from egg at all, just logged into the Education store as normal. I have bought from apple a few times this way, and it seems that using Egg's link is irrelevant - as long as you purchase using your Egg Money card you will receive the instant cash back.
And, yes, it is only 5% now, but still well worth it - I also bought the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks which are only £90 if you buy them with a computer (usually £129 from Apple) - so lots of discounts! I figure I have saved about £315!0 -
When you click on the Education Pricing and go to "your university" and affirm you are a student and select the "I agree" button to get to the actual store products, is there ever a point where you have to enter in a student ID number? Looks to me you just say you are a student, identify a university and continue to shop, enter in credit card information and verify it. Is this the case? Please advise, thanks!0
