Does Level 3 (19-25) Consession Exist?

I don't have a level 3 qualification or similar. According to a form I had to fill in for college, they do exist. However, I've been told by two people who work for the college (not teachers) that they don't exist. There's nothing on the college website about them either.

It is definitely available at my local FE college. You need to speak to the student support team, or the finance dept if they are customer facing. Other staff are unlikely to know (and tbh, teachers would be the least likely to know - it is not what they are paid for).

Edit: Not all courses will be covered, you would need to check that yours is.
    Gone ... or have I?

I did talk to the student support/welfare team. I will talk to them again, as it seems I may not be able to afford the full fees for both courses. :(

BOTH courses?? Could you clarify what you mean by this, unless it was just a slip. The Level 3 Entitlement is for your first FULL level 3 course; are you trying to do 2 part qualifications?

Not all colleges have approved their Access courses for the level 3 entitlement and, if they haven't, there's not much you can do about it, unfortunately. You wouldn't normally get funding for the GCSE English either. Depending on what you're planning to do at university you have 4 main options: find another local college that has the entitlement for it's Access courses:do a different course such as a BTEC National (2 years):do an OU foundation course: look at courses at one of the Adult Residential Colleges.

Whereabouts are you (roughly) and what academic area are you interested in?

Is it "Microsoft Access" or an "Access to IT" or something else you're doing? I wasn't aware any of these are 'level 3' - though I stand to be corrected.

The name of the course is 'Access To Computer Studies'. Access Courses are level 3.
