I Don't Have A Clue - Where Can I Get Easy To Understand Mobile Phone Help?
Hi All,
I was in my local mobile phone shop looking to get a cheapy phone as I don't spend much on it. I currently have a Sony Ericsson K750i which has been great but has started to crash on me.
The shop assistant suggested I log onto the SE website and get some downloads and hopefully my phone would return to its former glory.
Yesterday I spent the best part of 4 hours TRYING to understand what to do. I now realise i've got loads of functions that I didn't know about (music, syncro with computer, etc), i've never used them and tried to download/update.
Unfortunately I feel like i'm learning double-dutch as the SE website aint good for us less technically minded people. Can anyone suggest alternatives for me learning my phones full functions, etc?
Many thanks

Orange site just kept linking me back to Sony Ericsson so still haven't a clue.
Is their not a site like 'mobiles for dummies' as in the books?0 -
have you ever updated the firmware on the phone?
if not, use SEUS to update the phone's firmware to the latest version to hopefully stop it crashing0 -
Hi, yes already tried that. Put the relevant downloads on my pc, connected it to my phone and did what on-screen instructions said. Final comment was 'no updates'!
Basically, i've never used any updates ever, used the sync or music players. I've tried going through the instructions but i'm really struggling.0 -
i've just returned my sony ericson to store as it was having problems, they can send them off to repair. Basically the software needs updating, however for my phone there showed no software updates.
This is a common problem with sony. Which networks are you with and how long have you had your phone? I'm with o2 and have had the phone less than a year so the repair is free. Try going in to the shop?0
