Broadband with sky only connect available.. any other cheap option to consider!

I am disappointed after getting Sky tv to find out that our exchange hasn't got the facility for the sky broadband and so, they can only offer the £17/ month option.
I have also subscribed to BT already on a 12 month contract line rental and so, left with just broadband only options.
I am on a 3 contract for mobile...and so, not in the other networks offering broadbands. Just wondered for a mainly browsing and occasionally downloading single person use...which broadband is the cheapest. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks
