Honestly PAP, right now I wouldn't. Retail especially are starting to lay people off, not take on. A large department store chain chucked all it's summer temps across the country at the beginning of May.
£700 is that even a months wages? It won't last long hun. I've got four/five months wages and I'm starting to wonder if I did the right thing. It's easier to get a job with a job apparently. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Oh Pap, I don't know what to say really, I feel torn between thinking you should stay for the security, or leave for your own sanity.
Can you take some sick leave/holiday and just apply for anything and everything else going?
Sorry things are so bad:grouphug:0 -

Like cleaning?
£700 is that even a months wages? No its not but I am putting away £300 tommorow and then another £100 once the cheque clears so thats £1100. My monthly outgoing (rent to mum, house insurance and internet ~ my essentials are £230) It won't last long hun. I've got four/five months wages and I'm starting to wonder if I did the right thing. Everyone says its easier to get a job with a job but in theorey its far from true. I had an interview a few weeks ago and she said she would employ me but she wont because I have to work a months notice :rolleyes:0 -

Its a heart vs head decision and I need to do something before I get more sick. I have felt truely awfull today the worse since I ahve been put on my tabs and I know its work because when I have a few days off (ie 2/3) I feel much more happier. I cant go sick, someone else is sick and my doc wont sanction it (I wont get payed anyway). I heve a holiday in sept and thats all thats holding me together at the momment. I havent said anything/posted on my thread because I ahve been hiding my true feeling for months now, I thought it was a phase but I cant cope any more.
I have been playing with figures and if I could drop to 21 hours, thats £420 working it out as £5 an hour. It isnt but that takes into account tax etc. A new girl started today so its not like they cant give her my hours

Maybe you could talk to your supervisor again about going part time? But surely if the problem is this bad, then you need out altogether? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
