RSS Feeds

Hi folks,
In case some of you are wondering where the RSS feed has gone, we've had to switch it off as it was causing the Chat Forums to slow down and crash. pparently this is a known problem in our version of vBulletin and we're looking at ways to sort it out (the simplest of which is upgrading which we'll undertake as soon as possible anyway).
I'll let you know when I know more.

It seems to me that we should consider looking at other bullitin board software.
I'm sure that when Martin decided to set it up, he had no idea on how popular it would become.
I've found the rss feeds really great for picking up the quick bargain. Can anyone recomend another way of having a check performed ? I can't sit pressing F5 all day !0 -

We all get heavier as we get older because, there is a lot more information in our heads!

Here's the mse feed for the martin's blog - which still works because it is not part of the forum.
If you can read past the code you'll see that it gives a summary of each posting of blog.
The idea is that you can put the feed's address into a Reader and then you can quickly see what's happening on your favourite sites.0 -
Hi
Actually Vbulletin was selected exactly for its ability to cope with scale. And it has been a massive massive improvement on the previous software we had. Changing to a different software would be huge and unnecessary hassle. This is a bug in the version we're using, Vbull should be able to handle RSS feeds with ease
The aim is to upgrade the software - which should be a smooth process and then get RSS feeds back - there's a few other things higher on the priorities first thoughMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.
